book page teasers

Hi, this is my current situation:

book page (parent page as intro)
with child pages (CCK types added to the book through the outline)

This gives me a page with an intro and a list of child pages with prev/next navigation. Cool!

Is it possible to also show the teaser of the child pages below this TOC while keeping the prev/next navigation? Can I add an image in the parent page (book type) or should I use a CCK for that as well?
