I would like to create some menu items (primary links at the top of my site) that are visible per role. This way validated users can see links to restricted areas of the site while anonymous users can not. Would you please consider adding this feature to taxonomy access? Thanks!

istryker commentedI second this
i want to design roles, access and permission so that they can create/edit content and submenus under one menu or directory.
Is there anything like that in drupal yet? I know there are ways to control content type. I know there are ways to deny access to a submenu/path, but what i really want is a structure where i can give sole control to someone on the site and they can add/modify whatever they want under that.

cpugeniusmv commentedThis sounds like a job for a different module to me because menu items aren't necessarily tied to a node (and thus any taxonomy).
Doesn't sound like an impossible task though.
