I recently installed CCK and love it. However, I didn't like the fact that it created content tables for existing, custom node types (created by custom modules). I had no need for these tables and just deleted them. It would be nice if an admin installing CCK could specify node-types to ignore. This isn't a much-needed feature, but could cut down on DB clutter.

This is a duplicate of the "table per field" discussion which would eliminate the content-type specific tables altogether.
