Update to 5.2 caused strange behavior with blog home page

Description
I have just migrated my blog from 5.1 to 5.2 and and my comments links in the blog homepage disapeared...
The comments are stille here when i consult the node page but not in the homepage.
I think the bug comes from the views module.
When i uninstall views, the classical frontpage (node) displays the comment links very well...

I confirm the bug on a new installation.
Drupal 5.2 full english + Views 5.x-1.6 as the only module installed.
I overrided the Views "Recent posts" that appear in the navigation links.
I switched the Sort button to yes.
Saved
Created some dummy pages.
Clicked on Recent posts.
Impossible to sort them.

floown: Your bug has nothing to do with the orignal posted bug. Please don't take over issues, that's rude.
mikiane: I don't see why you think this bug comes from Views. By default, Views doesn't do anything to the blog homepage.

hi,
i had a similar issue.
the problem was kinda strange
my theme settings were not used, but those from general parameters.
so go to your theme settings and copy everything from your theme's comments link settings section to the general parameters
and it should be working again like it should

In breadcrumb always demonstrates “xxxx, s blog.”

Could this be related to Comment links are now gone from $links ?
In short, when doing a view with full nodes, the comment links disappear. In teaser list view, they are there.

sorry if this is out of place but i am going nuts trying to figure this mess out and this post sounds closet thing to it
i think there are some very serious issues with views/cck and dr 5.3 (maybe 5.2??)
just some random facts since i am no where near figuring this mess out:
- i have fused view nodes and union view nodes that occasionally show some data and sometimes dont;
- i though i tracked this down to some issue with cache.. if i deleted a cache entry for imagecache on every page (i.e. in menu hook) then my issue seemed to go away
- but now i notice that the block admin page is busted and i am unable to select the different themes
- it seemed like this was also solved with yet another deletion from cache this time a content_type_info entry.. but alas it still isnt consist.. but seems to have some affect
sorry if this post is a bit erratic but i have a very tight schedule for getting this site out.. and never seen so many bizarre issues when doing a drupal site
i think my bottom line would have to be that the Dr 5 caching system has serious issues.. but i am sure it will be hard to get people to agree with this...
getting close to having to bail on my highest profile client yet...
i think i will need to revert back to 5.2 and older version of cck/views.. although i upgraded since i think they caused issue as well.
