I find that Drupal 7 user a missing out on Google Analytics coverage when it comes to Services. And it also looks like the guys over at the Google Analytics module have had a recent request for it. I think it shouldn't be too difficult to convert port this over. It would be the 6.x-2.0 version ported because Services 3 is the only supported module for Drupal as of late.

The initial port was fairly simplistic. I'm waiting for a release to be generated from it, but until then, you can download from the repo.

The development version of the code is up for review. It is currently a direct port of 6.x-2.x with an addition of the permission fix in #1643452.
