For a post of a registered user there is the link "Edit" to let the user modify its post.
This work well if I am the admin user, if I am a normal authenticated user when I click the Edit link (always the same: http://www.mysite.com/?q=uieforum&c=editpost&PostID=18) there is something wrong and I'm sent to the 404 page not found...

daniel.hunt commentedI'm not getting this problem on unreal.ie - are you still getting it?
devbox commentedI checked it again.
I don't know why if still happens for a user (all others can edit its posts).
I don't know if there is something I should control.

daniel.hunt commentedCan you tell me exactly what you are doing please, I can't re-create this bug at all so it would be handy if I could follow your footsteps from the beginning through to wherever the problem is happening.

devbox commentedI'm sorry, but here there is something that does not works.
I repeat that for authenticated user the edit, and ONLY the edit, does not work.
- I installed Drupal
- Registered the admin user
- Registered a test user
- Installed UIEforum module under site/all
- created some forum
- In User Management -> Rolers -> uieforum
- checked - access forum, post new threads/posts.
- With test user added some post
- With test user go to one of its post, click Edit
the link is http://lnx.devbox4.net/?q=forum&c=editpost&PostID=18
I get the error page.
- I log with the admin
- I navigate to the link and since I'm the admin I can edit it.
This with Drupal 5.1 and uieforum 5.x-1.x-dev of 2007-Jul-30.
Now I'm trying it with a test site with Drupal 5.2 and it seems ok, but I don't know if it is a Drupal fix (?) or an user/forum config that is not working.

daniel.hunt commentedIts definitely strange that it works for 5.2 and not 5.1, I haven't a notion why that may be the case :/
Comment #6
devbox commentedNo, same problem and I really can't understand.
It must depend on some initial configuration of the forum, but I close the problem :(
Now if I do a new post (tryied with more users) I can edit it.
If I try to edit a post already *did by the same user* the edit link goes to the Page Error...
