2.x has many new features and improvements over 1.x

- functions totally restructured, configuration moved to UI
- Email functions completely rewritten for greater flexibility and more options
- Added caching of email lookup functions
- Added ability to re-send failed emails
- Added beginnings of full double opt-in system
- Added menu and callback handling for connect action functions
- Added "display participants" functionality

This is the initial release of our Connect module. We looking forward to seeing how this gets extended by the community. CCK is pretty powerful on its own, but there are so many more possibilities when you are able to relate them.
