Like another user who posted an issue for this module (http://drupal.org/node/1565702), I found your module from a thread in the Media module's issue queue. I didn't get quite as far though...

I've installed and enabled the -dev version of the module (2012-April-11) and encountered the following issues:

1. The "Manage file paths" settings page is located at admin/config/media/file-types/manage/[type]/file-paths page, not admin/structure/media/file-types/manage/[type]/file-paths as is listed on the project page for this module.

2. No matter which "Manage file paths" setting page I try to navigate to, I get a, "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later." error. Details:

Warning: Illegal offset type in fe_paths_get_settings() (line 94 of /Users/michael/Sites/mysite/sites/all/modules/fe_paths/fe_paths.module).
Recoverable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in fe_paths_admin_form() (line 18 of /Users/michael/Sites/mysite/sites/all/modules/fe_paths/includes/fe_paths.admin.inc).

Thoughts?

I'm attaching a patch that (hopefully) resolves the issues I reported above as well as several other issues I was having while trying to get this module to play nicely with the Media WYSIWYG plugin.

The module is under heavy refactoring, this issue is now irrelevant.
