Many thanks ... I like the module. Almost used it, but in the end found it better to simply link to Google for lack of two simple things:

1. A forward and back once you are inside an album and looking at pictures at their ultimately largest size, and

2. A way to define the block size that shows the ultimately largest picture.

What I found, both with my pix and yours (I'll leave the module on and running at dorsetwest.com) is that, while the thumbnails are small and hard to see, the situation is tolerable until you ask for the final image. But when your final image is too small to really enjoy we have a problem.

And of course navigating thru the pix by going up a level then down isn't too good. If that's what was meant by slideshow I'm sorry about the duplication; I take the slideshow request to mean automatic advance, which I think is nice to have but not really necessary.

One other thought ... perhaps the way to go here is to be able to define a node ... any kind of node, really, with a node-scoped link to either a picasaweb site or an album. And on the page a microformat that would enable you to designate a list of photos to server-side include in the page.

That, along with a few selectable display formats (2-across, 3-across, etc). would leverage the existing ability of individual users to manage nodes they have access to and give a lot of control over the presentation.

Again, nice work!

R.

I really appreciate the summary of the existing issues for this project. If you would like to contribute code or post something that isn't already in the issue queue do so ... otherwise this is not helpful.
