Most spam is not identified as such

I installed the drupal Akismet module and it seems to be working correctly. I receive about 5 spam comments per day. It has been installed for almost a month now, and since then, only two comments were identified as spam. Those two were different from the one I receive usually. The others are all of the same "kind". I already contacted Akismet and they confirmed that those comments would have been blocked. But they are not, and no error messages appear in the logs.
