File upload not of image type.

Instead of just a text of "No Preview" why not allow admin to set a default icon or image representative of the file type ?

I agree. For example, a PDF or Powerpoint icon would be a nice alternative! Let me know how I can help.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Will need to look into that. I can't include default icons since I don't own any copyright free images to use.

a default icon is cool.
a custom icon would be cooler.
the ability to override the automated icon would be cooler still.

i'm confused about the development of this module, since it isn't going to dv7.
Would it be a waste of my time to build functionality into this module?
Is there a better option to get custom, default and automatic preview icons?
