Description

Is there a moodle issue key (MDL) for the "delegation of logout urls" patch that's holding up this moodle/drupal integration code? (see http://tracker.moodle.org/secure/Dashboard.jspa )

If so, I'd love to know what it is.

Is this module still being actively developed?

Thanks,

mischa

Title:Moodle patch ID» Moodle Connection

For a number of reasons I would like to be able to sign onto Moodle through Drupal. The module available is nicely suggestive, but I need more help. The available module generates what seems to be a Moodle database error on initial installation. Then the configuration of Moodle (under Drupal) asks for "Salt", but I can't find an explanation for "Salt", and consequently don't have any idea of how this necessary field should be provided.

Conceptually, I can see that it should be possible for Drupal to pass a cookie to Moodle that would allow "automatic" signon. While I can conceptually see this, I have (almost) no idea of how to make it actually happen. Even a brief note about how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bob:
Create a separate issue rather than hijacking an existing issue.
I assume you did this in error, I'm just pointing out that your issue and the other person's issue are not at all related.

That being said, I'd love to find out what needs to be done to make the logout work properly. It seems to me that a 'logout' is just a form sent with the correct session information to a url/file that uses the information to log the user out. Is there a mismatch between the two session keys that is causing this problem?

Hi folks

Moodle 1.9 is not far off release, is there a working 1.8 version of this module anywhere and is there any movement towards a 1.9 version?

Regards
H
