Testing a site in IE8 I saw that links that work great in firefox and chrome
1. fail to add the colorbox prefix to the link. (in firefox the link is changed from /node/x to /colorbox/node/x , in ie8 only /node/x)
2. the link fails and presents an ajax error.
I just built the site with the latest stable versions of colorbox and colorbox node. I will have a look at this when I get a moment tomorrow, but thought I´d go ahead and post it on the queue. thanks for all your work.

I can't reproduce this and you have not posted back so I am going to close this as I think your problem stemmed somewhere else.
