Got the latest stable release of fivestars but when i click enable and save it does not actually enable and appears as disabled.

Do you have VotingAPI installed? I haven't had other reports of such a problem existing.

I have this problem as well. Yes, I have Voting API installed. I enable it in a custom content type, but it doesn't actually enable after I save the content type. I can click somewhere else, go back, and it will still be enabled.
