Is this related to http://drupal.org/node/114202? If not, could you explain why this is needed? Also, please create patches against the DRUPAL-5 branch.

Whoops, my bad. The patch took 20 seconds to write, and I was being lazy on the issue search. Sorry for the noise :-) Will reroll against DRUPAL-5 and post to the referenced thread later today.
