404 error file not found, when I save content

I am a recent user to Drupal and i am using Bluehost to host Drupal 7.14. I click the "content" selection on the top menu and add a basic page and save: No problem. Say I promote it to the front page. When I am on the front page and I click the content title and choose "edit" I can then edit and save, no problem. If I click the "content" selection at top, find the content on the table and choose edit, then try to save it, I get a 404 error page not found. So I go back to my site, the change was saved. But if i ever go into the "content" menu at the top and select any content, upon saving I get this 404 error.

When the 404 errors shows up, the URL in the address window is www.mydomain.com/admin/content and the page shown is a generic Bluehost screen.
This also happens if I use the "new content" button on my dashboard.

If i add "?q=" in front the "admin" in this address, then it goes goes back to the content table. This sounds related to the issue of "clean URLS" that I have spent hours trying to solve.

Thanks
