I get this error when previewing or submitting a comment. The comment fails to get posted, and this error appears. On another computer I did not have this issue, everything was fine. I then went to Firefox 2 preferences and cleared the cookies I had for the site, and the error stopped happening. Should I cross post this on the captcha.module queue? I tried using the latest stable captcha module and then the HEAD version; had same issue w/ both.

Do you get the same error when using another Captcha challenge? Like the Text Captcha challenge?

Hi Rob,
I cannot get this to repeat in any case. Since clearing my cookies, it does not happen. Do you have any hunches on what I could try and do to get it to repeat based on the error?

Really not sure, since I'm pretty sure the Captcha module doesn't use cookies. I'm setting this to fixed and hoping for the best....
