Using the JW flash player when I navigate to a video using firefox: http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/~ariana/drupal-5.1/?q=node/14 I see nothing. I can get the video to play by rightclicking and selecting "play".

In I.E 7 the video shows up and plays fine.

In both browsers the default video player shows up and works fine.

I am having a similar problem. But yours seems to have an easy solution. set your play="false" to play="true" in the swf Tools module under wijering/playback.

Yes, you're right! Why is that play='false' in the output? I don't have that option set in any of the configs.. its not even an option to put play=false.??

I am also facing the exact same problem. JW player works fine on IE but not on Firefox (mine is 2.0.0.6)

Exact same issue here... I am using flash node, not sure wether that might be causing trouble, but thought that i should mention it.

possible solution found:

in your site go to SWF Tools > Embedding settings > Default settings for embedding

change the value of flash version; if its 7 it wont play flv (i think). I changed it to 9 and that worked so far.

No more posts in nearly a year. I haven't been able to recreate the issue locally so I'm going to close this to tidy up the issue queue, but open it again if you have more information.
