Need help uploading a flash file

Hey everyone, so I've been creating a site with drupal for about a month now and I've become pretty acquainted with it. However, I've run into one problem: uploading a .swf file. I'm using the CK toolbar for my forum and it has a flash file upload button integrated into it. I can click that and upload a flash game onto my server. I can even click on it and get it to display in the "preview" box where the game loads perfectly fine and functions properly, but once I actually push "ok" it displays as a red box with the word "flash" in the middle; and once I publish the post, the field is completely blank. Any thoughts? I've done some research and no one appears to be having the same problem. Thanks in advance!
