I use string overrides on almost every set up. And one thing I've always missed is an autocomplete like search. Original strings sometimes are altered (.=) by contrib modules. And when copy pasting from the interface the user doesn't know this. One has to dig thru the code to find the string to input in SO module.

An autocomplete search would help greatly in cutting down time needed in this operation. Is this something that is already possible but I haven't found yet or is this a feature request?
