404 page using the wrong theme

field4000 - August 8, 2007 - 09:56

Hey all,

I've set up a 404 page and it works as it should. the only thing, it is using the wrong theme; it defaults back to the admin theme.

I am missing some important code or something in the .htaccess?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Cheers in advance.

I have the exact same

I have the exact same problem. In Adminsiter > Site configuration > Error reporting it matters not whether I use the node number or the URL alias of my custom error page. When editing the page, the correct theme is selected, but it's not applied when the page is displayed.

Same exact problem here.

Try 404 Blocks

Perhaps Drupal's skipping rendering the left and right regions of your theme? that's standard in Drupal 5 and 6, and if that's the issue, this module may help:
