Great idea. The og membership code was initially contributed by someone else, and I think that's what's going to have to happen here as well since I haven't used og user roles yet.

Ideally, og user roles would provide an API similar to what OG provides (og_delete_subscription, og_save_subscription), which would make the code on the userplus side much simpler.

See if you can find someone on the og user roles side of things that might be willing to code this up and I'll get it incorporated into userplus.

Why do you say this? The best way round OGUR would be not to install it in the first place. If a user needs this functionality, and it doesn't already exist, seems to me the best course is for OG to support it (so long as it doesn't break OG). You don't agree?

I said this out of ignorance, as I haven't tried OG User Roles in a long time.

Thinking more about this, though, the requested functionality would be better placed in OG User Roles. OG is massive enough as it is.
