Edit User page cannot accept changes

Hello!

I have installed the Legal module, which works quite well, but I have found that editing a user (changing the password, level of access, etc.) produces a "you must accept the terms and conditions" error message, and will not allow the change to commit. Unfortunately, there is no T&C accept checkbox (or anything along those lines) on the edit user page. Please advise.
