hi, I have an idea

this module is really great,
but there can be need sometimes to allow someone to see some of my nodes, without adding him/her into my buddylist.

so it can be great to generate url with some code, for this user, as it is e.g. on picassa. (for one day, or persistent)
or (complex solution)- to have list for each node, where can user add or remove another users with access for it, for e.g. 1 day, or week, or permanent.

and on main menu can be generally list of each my nodes which are allowed to someone where can user simply see every his/her nodes with users whos to have access for it...

yet another thing :), generally, on the site there are some nodes, which are inherited in their parent, (e.g. acidfree albums contains images)
so, if there is album (or another parent node contains children) set as visible only for buddies, all inherited nodes have to got immediately the same visibility as their parent.

thanks for reading my ideas :) I know that there are lot of interesting things what to do with this module, but so little time...

It would be good to have the option of showing nodes to individual users. The site I'm building won't need it at the moment, but I will try and work on this in the future...

I liked the idea of inheriting privacy settings and have added an admin settings page where you can select whether you want to enforce hierarchy for taxonomy / acidfree. If you do turn these on, child nodes will inherit the privacy setting of their parent when the parent nodes is updated. To enforce the hierarchy, you won't be able to choose a node's privacy setting which is different to any of it's parents (there will be a form validation error). I'd be very interested to know what people thought of this and if it work's for you so please let me know...
