Google "first click free"

johndeep - August 9, 2007 - 21:14

Our news service would like to implement Google's "first click free" feature, which is described at
http://groups.google.com/group/news-usingGN/browse_thread/thread/3bd0269...

Is there a way to do this in Drupal?

Thanks,
John

It's possible. How are you

It's possible. How are you protecting the pages from anon visitors? With "access content" disabled for them? Other node access module?

Just setting up. We're open to suggestions

We're just installing Drupal now and importing the data so we're still flexible if there are suggestions. But yes, we had expected to disable "access content" for anonymous visitors.

flevor has posted his contribution for a Google "First Click Free". It's working for us. Please let us know if it works for you.

Thanks to everyone who helped, especially adixon for his insights!
