"Autocomplete" problem

Hello,
could someone help me with following problem please?

When adding a new "article gallery" by the user, the user must select the corresponding article from Display Suite field linked to the "Articles" list via Entity Reference.

The field is compound from 3 fields (via Views --> Entity Reference list): Article Name, Producer (of the article), Reference (of the article) and is shown in the field as follows (e.g.): "Blue mouse - Producer ABC - 1200235"

All the articles are in the list (checked and that works fine).
Ths field is set to "Autocomplete" in Display Suite and in the View, all three components (article/producer/reference) are ticked as searchable.

The problem is that it works only if user starts typing a part of the "article name". When he start typing a part of Producer name or a part of the reference, the autocomplete doesn't propose any value.
in Short: typing "mous" = OK, typing "12" = no proposition, typing "prod" = no proposition.

As there are about 5.000 articles, I cant make just a drop down list...
And I need to allow the user to search by Producer and by Reference as well.

Any help and advice are welcome!
