Although I could be wrong, I believe the Captcha module's DRUPAL-5--3 branch handles this because it was an issue we briefly discussed when saxofaan was putting it together. If not, I think it's something that should definitely be put into the captcha module instead of reCAPTCHA. Right now, I think it sticks all captcha forms right above the submit button.

I just reviewed the captcha code, and you're exactly right. So this issue is irrelevant for 5.x

Same issue here. My reCAPTCHA is displaying in the middle of my CCK page. But I would like it at the bottom.
