Aggregator - length of URL box is too short

When adding a new feed URL on the page : admin/content/aggregator/add/feed
the feed text box cuts off long urls, such as the immense urls one can generate for very specific queries in google, without giving any feedback that the entry was too long. Thus it appears that you added the feed, until you try to 'update items', where you will be told the url does not work.
