I've just found this with a Wholesale customer site that's almost ready to go live.
The text field length of the Quantity field seems hard-coded to 2 characters (via maxlength="2" css in the form), which means you cannot order 100's or 1000's of anything.

This is an issue with the cart.module forms, but I think there are also references in the store.module and product.module.
