Great module!

I was hoping to have the review criteria change depending on the content type that the review nodes are allowed for. For example, I want to allow review nodes for schools and textbooks but I want to have different review criteria for each of them. Is this possible?

Second, is it possible to make the comments required on each axis review optional instead of mandatory?

Different axes for each content type are possible now. Get the latest version of the module and in the Admin area there is "Review types." You click on that and check off the Content types you would like to be reviewable. Once you Save, tabs for each content type you checked will be available, allowing you to create axes for each individually.

I think your second request is currently being worked on. See this issue: http://drupal.org/node/100044.

This won't be fixed anymore or replicate to verify this issue, we just have to move forward and making version 6 stable and create version 7 dev.
