I have a story that is very long with lots of text that I want to spread over several pages. Is there a way of creating a simple page break? I don't want to have to create separate Story nodes for each segment of the article and then manually link them.
I'm not talking about adding
for the teaser, which works great. No this is just for better organising big features.
Maybe it's something like

Just letting you know that...
I have started a new thread at http://drupal.org/node/304009 so please direct all replies to the other thread instead:)

Two or three people were working on it in July 2008.
But they haven't taken it any further forward.
You can download what they did as a zip file: http://drupal.org/node/220427
And a further patch: http://drupal.org/node/284076
But personally I wouldn't use that on a production site without thorough testing.
However, you're right. Paging is a very necessary feature for many people.
I'm surprised it isn't in core.
THANKS Anti!:)
Very much appreciated! I really hope it does get into core in the very near future:)

Yep, I hope so too. But I also doubt it very much.
In fact I doubt whether the paging module will ever reach a stable release for D6!
