Extending authentification workflow

Hi
I would like to extend the authentification workflow. At the moment I have to possibilities to say accept or deny email, e.g. deny --> %@yahoo.com in my access rules settings. I would like to extend it the way that I can say, accept directly(a certain list of mail addesses), deny (another bunch of adresses) --> so far thats possible... and set on hold for manual acceptation by the admin (for all email addresses that are not in the accept or deny list)
Is that possible or is there a workaround that comes at least close to what I want. I'm thankfull for any kind of idea.

I just checked the tool, but unfortunatly I can't find the functionality I was looking for. I have a lot more functions for customization (redirect, direct login...) but not the feature to add a "third" status that gives the registered user a limmited access role until he is accepted by the admin --> Only!!! if he is not automatically accepted or denied because of his EMail adress.
Example: I want to accept directly %@microsoft.com --> Automatically (no manual verification of the registration reguest)
I want to deny directly %@gmx.com --> Automatically (no manual verification of the registration reguest)
I want all others to be set to a status with limited rights (so that the admin can decide what to do with them (decline or accept)
