I'm trying to hack Xtemplate, and have some probs.
As I'm far from an expert in either CSS, HTML or PHP I have had a hard time figuring out how it works.
I'm trying to get a black 5px border around my content area and center it in the middle of the screen.
I keep getting into trouble. I have tried to define both directly in the xtmpl, and in the css file, the border, only to get so far as getting the border right when logged in in IE, but not Opera, and not when arriving at the site. I would strongly prefer it to render the same way when logged in, and when logged out. Any ideas as to why?
I have currently put the styling into the xtmpl file - in the main table tag that holds the content. It seems that it is somehow overridden when not logged in.
If I try to do it by stylesheets it all fucks up and the browsers begin to act differently.
