When I scroll down, the images are lazy loading, which is great. However, when I scroll back to the top, the image are lazy loading again. I would expect lazy loading would only happen once?

Hmm, this looks like what may have been happening with https://drupal.org/node/1605596 . Are you using the latest dev/rc release of this module?

Firefox is about to crash here also, my MacBook spins like crazy. So:

Safari 5.1.7: no problem anymore since latest dev!
Chrome 20.0.1132.43: no problem anymore since latest dev!
Firefox 13.0.1: about to crash, doesn't load te pictures at all
Safari on iPad: page is extremely slow and loads only placeholders, sometimes the images after 20 seconds, sometimes they don't load at all

IE: no idea to be honest, only have a Mac here

I use JAIL 0.9.5 minified.

Any news on this? Safari (desktop version) also doesn't like the new dev, works very slow.

Unfortunatly, I had to disable the module altogether because at this moment, it doesn't work for me, it's way too slow (only Chrome handles it well).

No news yet. I havent had time to investigate this in detail. I'm more than open to patch requests :]
