I think this issue is relatively critical cause it seems that it's not possible to setup my site so that a node is promoted when it receives two points and not two votes...

No matter how I setup the action, (sum, count) it always get promoted when the node receives two votes (but not two points). I think even two "-1" votes would promote the node to the front page...

I think the "sum" or "count" does not work, not sure which is the one that I would be supposed to use, since I get the exact same behaviour for both...

This problem is still there, is there any new version I could try? Have you taken a look at this bug on the dev version of the module?

This version of Voting Actions is not supported anymore. The issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.
