Hi - I want my users to earn points for every unique visit in a day to their articles, not just views by other registered users. Any idea how I can go about this.

I've tried using the rules function but I don't understand it well enough to make it work and any help on this would be most gratefully appreciated.

Don't worry about, I realised that I am a bit dense and have worked out that I didn't have the correct boxes checked on the permissions page! Duh!!
