Display Directory Contents as Page

Hello, I have a very large amount of Ham Radio Manuals and Guides. Around 6 gb worth. And I have them uploaded in a directory sorted by manufacture and model.

How can I display this directory as a page for users to download the PDF files stored in that directory, keeping the hierarchy of the folders. Iv been pulling my hair out with this for like a month,

I haven't looked at D7 modules that. Maybe those two D6 modules help somehow: https://drupal.org/project/filebrowser https://drupal.org/project/fast_gallery (this one got a D7 beta)

But do you really need this kind of page? If you would like to store information along with the files or need more fnctions (like file rating, comments, have one file in multiple catagories, ...) you'd be probably better off with importing the files as nodes.
