Hi, all. . .I'm a blog veteran, but new to Drupal. . .I've got an issue that's really bugging me. . .

I'm using the Amadou theme and am loving it thus far. . .however, when I go to set up the "blocks" such as login, links, etc. . .nothing shows up on my front page. . .there are no sidebars and in fact, the ability to login has totally disappeared. . .what have I done wrong? I'm using Drupal 5.2, MySQL, hosted on freehostia.com

• Log into your site at http://yoursite.com/user ;
• goto the block admin section at http://yoursite.com/admin/build/block and set your blocks by selecting a region in the drop down list for each block item;
• and click the "Save blocks" button.

Thanks for your prompt response. . .I've done that. . .picked my blocks. . .chosen which sidebar to put them in. . .saved the blocks. . .and then came back only to find just my posts on the main page. . .no login. . .no blocks. . .no sidebars. . .what to do?

Also, please make sure that you have not set your site to cache your pages and css...
Under "Performance" : http://yoursite.com/admin/settings/performance
Please make sure that "Caching mode" is disabled and "Aggregate and compress CSS files" is also set to disabled.
