Forgive me if this is a newbie issue, I didn't find an answer by searching the existing issues.

I am new to @font-your-face. I installed the module, and enabled the UI, Google and local fonts. Under the configuration for the UI, it says that Google is enabled with 1466 fonts. But when I try to "Browse all Fonts", the program seems to go into some sort of loop. From my desktop workstation, I get the "Loading ......" message, and then it just sits there, erasing and adding "..." over and over (going on 20 minutes now in one browser). My desktop is Windows. I've tried Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome -- all with the same result.

So I logged into the server with remote desktop and tried from there. The server seems to hang for a while, and then it tells me:

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

and the URL in the address bar changes to http://localhost/acquia-drupal7/admin/appearance/fontyourface/browse/goo... as the error appears. Is there some setting I am missing?

I was able to download the font from google and install it on the server directly, so the local fonts component is working properly. As a result, this is not a high priority issue, but someday I'd like to be able to use the Google fonts directly.

Thanks,
Laurie

Can you use Firebug to see what other paths it is redirecting to? Redirecting to /admin/appearance/fontyourface/browse/google_fonts_api is correct, but it shouldn't be redirecting from there. To figure out why it's redirecting from there, it would be helpful to know where it's redirecting to.

Just adding the workaround I've always used for this - I've experienced hangups in FF and Chrome as you describe.

I only ever get the error when Drupal's attempting to make me browse fonts via the Overlay (when the rest of the screen dims and you're able to stay on your current page while you, say, add a module via said overlay).

When I exit the overlay and force Drupal to actually render the path (admin/appearance/fontyourface/browse), the fonts come up just fine.
