I have searched the net and had little luck finding an answer to what I thought would be a common question. I have been working on a Drupal site by my lonesome for a little over a year now and I just got around to realizing that Drupal Commons does exactly what i want out of the box. I currently have the latest Drupal 6 COCOMore installed and want to give Commons a go. What are my options? Thanks in advance for your time.

Never even come across that one before. Is your question how to install Commons on top of COCOMore?

Well, Commons is to use Pressflow, which COCOMore uses, which when complete will give you a better idea of whether or not the two are immediately compatible #1329654: Switch to Pressflow as default packaged core version

Problems would mainly arise out of any patches Commons applies to Core, I don't know if there are any until it takes on Pressflow, but if there are, you'd have to apply these against COCOMore as well. There could be other problems, but best way to find out would be to try it... Unzip Commons, unzip COCOMore to overwrite Commons' Drupal core, apply any core patches needed by Commons, and install it...
