Are you familiar with the Panels mini?
I think that that feature is more powerful for the admin, but I'm not saying this too discourage you. Not at all! I think maybe you should share your experience and check (help develop?) this module or the other modules which are needed.

but i am no stand whether merge them or not.
seems we are providing different functions, although similar
