Menu items isn`t deleted on term delete

Issue:

-Deleting a vocabulary term leaves stray menu items that cannot be deleted.

Setup:

From within the taxonomy module:
1. Add a term in to voabulary that`s linked with an menu
The term is added in the menu
2. Delete the term
The term isn`t deleted from the menu
3. Try to delete in the menu page
Can`t delete because the menu is an stray item

This also creates errors in other modules because these are trying to get info from an term that doesn`t exists.
