I've been trying to upgrade my site from Drupal 4.7.7 to 5.2 and get a very ugly error.
i found the following post with a very similar problem but i not use the cck module. i use flexinode.
i need help please.

node_type table?
How similar is the problem? I thought flexinode had its own "flexinode_type" table and didn't try to create any "node_type" table, and that you would have only the content conversion problem.
I remember there used to be a flexiconvert module (http://drupal.org/project/flexiconvert) for converting to CCK. It is 4.7 only, just like flexinode itself, and it is not fully automated (requires some manual work). So, if you find any use for it you should probably convert to CCK while you are still in 4.7.
