Would it be possible to add something to this useful module that lets you take different actions depending on the data submitted? In particular, I have a radio button field on a content type and I would like to take the user to a different page when they submit the form depending on their radio button selection.

For what it's worth almost a year later:
Have a look at the Workflow NG module ( http://drupal.org/project/workflow_ng ); I think it can do what you are looking for.
