I believe it's August of 2008, not 2007. The lullabots are writing it, see their announcement here. http://www.lullabot.com/blog/were_writing_oreilly_drupal_book where its stated "next year" and will be oriented around Drupal 6

Thanks for the link. I think that may be a different book, because it appears to be a different author and publisher than the one I'm thinking of, which is shown here: http://drupal.org/node/42200.
According to the note on the amazon page, they don't know when or "if" the item will be in stock.
I'd cancel as it doesn't sound to me as if that book is coming to market.
When preordering books I'd stick to the authors who are known community members and from known publishers who've already published Drupal related material.

Practical Drupal: Evaluating and Using a Web Content Management
Hi there,
I've had Practical Drupal: Evaluating and Using a Web Content Management System (Paperback) on preorder at amazon.co.uk for almost a year now, and am considering to cancel my order.
Does anybody know if that book has appeared or if not, if it is still due to be published?
