I've been trying to contact dopry with no success, so to keep this module moving I've created a temporary fork:

If dopry pops up and gives somebody commit we'll just abandon this, otherwise I'll make a project node, releases etc.

I have a mod which will shortly depend on this which adds tabs to nodes to add referring nodes seamlessly, will post when ready.

Also, maybe we can get this committed to CCK.

Seems to work with 5.x, although the caching stuff I don't grok yet.
