I have a site with a custom built front page.

Is there a way to remove the workflow option 'Promoted to front page' so that the users can't select this as an option?

I tried removing the option from content_types.inc, uploaded the file, but the option still appeared when we tried to create new stories, polls, etc.

hi chris,

did you find a way to strip that options down?

I found formFilter-Module - but that's only hidding the fields by css
I'm searchig a way to really remove this options.
