The Zen theme works fine on the localhost, but when I uploaded it on the remote server, under Themes list it just says "Screenshot for zen theme" instead of showing the screenshot. Also, when I look at the site, CSS is not linked so it looks totally wrong. How can I fix this problem?

Rename the theme folder "Zen-theme" instead of Zen, it's an issue with Apache I believe.

however this has not worked for me. I have redownloaded zen-5.x-0.6.tar.gz file and installed it to public_html/drupal/sites/all/themes/zen-theme, but in the themes list t shows Screenshot for zen-theme theme

fixed the problem

moved the files from drupal/sites/all/themes to drupal/themes and it works now.
