Looking at the logs, we only find entries that Google is accessing sitemap0.xml. Yahoo just downloads sitemap.xml, and we do not see Ask doing anything.

We have verified that the submission URL is telling the search engines the proper URL: /sitemap.xml and that file points to sitemap0.xml.

Possibly is Yahoo not advanced enough to link from sitemap to sitemap?

What actually happen when click "Save Configuration" whereby all Submit site map to Yahoo, Submit site map to Ask.com, Submit site map to Google.

This module do not give any indication that the XML is submitted.

I go ahead a point the URL to yahoo, ask.com - they say it is succesfully submitted.

In case of google, should I see it automatically in "Webmaster Tools" page? In this case, it's not there ....have to wait?
Shall I do it manually?

There are log entries that the module submitted them to all three search engines.

I have since modified the URL being submitted to Yahoo to be sitemap0.xml and Yahoo finally is downloading sitemap0.xml now. As the sites are relatively small AT THIS POINT it will work for now.

Better handshaking with search engines other than Google is a must.

Why did you close this legit bug report without even commenting as to why you were closing it?

Nothing personal, just trying to winnow the issue queue to make it easier to work on. I closed this issue because no particular action was required, just a general improvement. That will come in the normal course of development. Sorry for not explaining. I hope you understand.
