I got the fatal php error "Call to undefined function: path_set_alias()" when I first tried to configure autopath--specifically, when I checked the bulk alias checkbox and saved. I activated the path module (which I hadn't realized was inactive), which fixed the problem. I didn't see anything about enabling path in the documentation.

I'll have the settings page check that path is enabled and present a message if it isn't, as well as documenting the dependency in README.txt.
